2. Take a small amount (pea-sized or slightly more, depending on dryness).
3. “Activate” the cream by warming it between your fingertips. Rub it gently between your fingers until it becomes slightly translucent. This part is key as it helps the lamellar-phase architecture of the cream to soften, activate and release the cream’s key ingredients so they absorb more effectively.
4. Gently press or pat onto skin (don’t rub harshly)
Use gentle pressing or patting motions to apply the cream onto your face and neck, think of compressing the cream into the skin rather than dragging it.

Love this night cream. It seems to be helping with my rosacea, need to rub it between your palms before applying so it goes into a serumy consistency. Hydrating and calming. Fingers crossed after daily use, my rosacea will diminish.

I absolutely love both of these new products- the night cream and the day cream from Ayu. It took me a little while to figure out that application for the night cream. I recommend watching the Ayu video on it. Once I realised all you need to do is rub it between your hands first to get that gorgeous serum like consistency, it is then so easy to apply by just pressing it into the skin. And my skin just loves this night cream. And the lumere day cream. As I’ve gotten older my skin has become more sensitive, prone to breakouts and redness. I was following trends and using active formulas which only made things worse. My skin reacts badly to any active ingredients and I was struggling to find anything that calmed my skin. I came across Suzy’s videos on insta. I’ve used Ayu makeup for years now so I knew the products were good. Suzy described how her own skin is sensitive and had improved greatly since using La Crème Cellular Nuit and the Lumere Firme Day cream. So I decided to pare back my whole routine. I bought both creams and though they are pricier than what I would normally buy, I figured I’d save money in the long run since I was cutting out all the other products. I’ve waited about 5 weeks before reviewing, because I wanted to see how they would work on my skin. And I have yo say I’m really impressed. I love both creams. The main improvement has been a reduction in the reactiveness and redness of my skin. I love the lightness of both creams but at the same time they are both really nourishing and hydrating. I don’t feel like I’m clogging my skin, and the day cream is especially light and sits beautifully under SPF and makeup. I still have some minor breakouts from time to time which I think are hormonal, but overall my skin is really improving with the day and night creams. They are the only products I’m using at the moment (alongside spf during the day) and my skin feels so much happier and smoother and crucially, calmer, with a more minimal routine. The creams are a beautiful consistency and are full of good ingredients. I really recommend giving them a go. I’ve recently ordered my second set of both creams because I love them so much and am pretty sure they’ll be my number one go to skincare from now on. Another beautiful product from Ayu.
