This is a highly hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who is data-driven, performance-oriented, and deeply curious about how AI can be used to improve marketing outcomes. You will sit at the intersection of performance, creative, and analytics, ensuring every channel is optimised and working together efficiently.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the Founder, the Digital Marketing Manager will own Ayu’s core digital marketing channels end-to-end.
You will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue across paid media, affiliates, SEO, CRM, and marketplace channels. You will assess performance in detail, define clear KPIs per channel, and use insights (and AI tools) to guide both campaign strategy and creative requirements.
This role owns the digital performance layer of the business and acts as the bridge between data, channels, creative execution, and budget ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Performance & Channel Ownership
- Own, manage and oversee (where agencies are involved) performance across Meta, Google (Paid Search), TikTok, SEO (nice to have), Affiliate, and Amazon (nice to have) channels
- Set channel-level targets and optimise against CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and revenue contribution
- Own and manage paid media budgets, including scaling spend efficiently while protecting performance metrics
- Identify growth opportunities and inefficiencies across the full customer journey
Paid Media & Acquisition
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok
- Structure testing roadmaps for audiences, formats, offers, and landing pages
- Work closely with the creative team and provide clear, data-led feedback to create asset variations that optimise and scale winning paid media assets
- Use AI tools to generate ad copy variations, creative hypotheses, and performance insights
Affiliate, Influencer & Partnerships
- Own affiliate performance via AWIN and TikTok Affiliate
- Oversee onboarding, performance tracking, and optimisation of partners
- Assess ROI across coupon sites, creators, and live commerce initiatives
SEO & Website Optimisation
- Own SEO performance via Google Search Console and third-party tools
- Work with internal and external partners to improve rankings, traffic quality, and on-site engagement
- Lead CRO initiatives including A/B testing, funnel optimisation, and checkout improvements
CRM, Retention & LTV Growth
- Use data and AI-assisted insights to improve messaging, timing, and relevance to inform the marketing team and supporting agency.
- Drive retention and repeat purchase through Email & SMS (Klaviyo)
- Build and optimise automated flows, segmentation, and campaign calendars
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
- Own reporting across all digital channels and marketplaces
- Build clear dashboards covering CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion, and retention metrics
- Translate performance data into actionable insights for leadership and creative teams
Creative & AI-Led Collaboration
- Define creative requirements per channel based on performance data
- Advise the creative and content teams on formats, hooks, messaging, and asset volume needed to scale
- Leverage AI tools to support creative ideation, iteration, and testing velocity
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- 4+ years’ experience in digital, performance, or growth marketing within eCommerce
- Proven experience managing Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, affiliates, and CRM
- Experience owning and scaling paid media budgets with strong ROI discipline
- Experience managing agencies
- Strong analytical capability with hands-on experience in GA4, Shopify, and attribution tracking
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve marketing efficiency, testing, or creative output
- Commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise impact over activity
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment

We are now hiring a Head of Brand & Content to own and elevate our brand storytelling, content execution, and marketing delivery across all channels, while building and leading a high-performing creative and content team.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Founder, the Head of Brand & Content will own the execution of Ayu’s brand and content strategy end-to-end.
This role is responsible for translating brand strategy into a clear marketing plan and master content calendar, ensuring campaigns, launches, influencer activity, PR, retail storytelling, and content output are delivered on time, on brand, and at a high standard.
You will lead and scale the brand, content, and influencer functions, manage agencies and partners, and act as the central point of coordination across all brand-facing activity.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Ownership & Consistency
- Own and protect the Ayu brand across all consumer touchpoints alongside the Founder
- Ensure consistent tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging across digital, retail, PR, and product packaging
- Evolve brand guidelines as the business scales internationally
Marketing Plan & Content Calendar Ownership
- Own the end-to-end marketing plan and master content calendar
- Align product launches, campaigns, influencer activity, PR, retail, and always-on content into a single, cohesive plan
- Ensure clear timelines, priorities, and accountability across teams and partners
Content, Social & Community
- Lead social media, content creation, copywriting, and community initiatives
- Oversee internal creators and external partners producing content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Ensure content aligns with brand standards, campaign goals, and commercial priorities
Influencer, UGC & PR
- Own influencer and UGC strategy execution across ROI & UK
- Oversee influencer briefs, gifting programmes, UGC sourcing, and performance review
- Oversee PR agencies, digital PR, traditional PR, campaign photoshoots, and events
- Ensure influencer and PR output supports launches, retail, and brand storytelling
Campaigns & Product Launches
- Lead cross-functional execution of brand campaigns and new product launches
- Coordinate timelines across creative, PR, influencer, retail, and digital teams
- Ensure launches are delivered on time, on brief, and with high creative standards
Retail & Experiential Brand Marketing (nice to have)
- Own brand execution across retail and experiential channels (Boots, Kilkenny Design, airports, events)
- Oversee in-store storytelling, POS, masterclasses, and brand activations
- Ensure retail brand execution aligns with the wider content and campaign calendar
Team Leadership & Scaling
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a growing brand, content, and influencer team
- Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities as the business scales
- Set clear goals, development plans, and performance standards
- Build a collaborative, creative, and accountable team culture
Ideal Candidate Requirements
- Strong passion for beauty, fashion, or wellness brands
- Deep experience in brand marketing, content, influencer, and campaign execution

We are now hiring a Content & Social Manager to execute and scale our organic social presence, content engine, and community engagement across key platforms. This is a highly creative but commercially aware role, sitting at the heart of brand storytelling and performance support.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to the Head of Brand & Content, and working closely with the Founder, Digital Marketing Manager, and the wider team, the Content & Social Manager will be responsible for the execution, optimisation, and day-to-day performance of Ayu’s organic social and content activity.
You will plan, create, publish, and optimise social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, operating within the brand direction, marketing plan, and content calendar set by the Head of Brand & Content.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how modern beauty brands win on social through speed, relevance, authenticity, UGC, and constant testing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CONTENT STRATEGY & PLANNING
- Execute the organic content and social strategy in line with brand guidelines, launch priorities, and commercial moments
- Build and manage monthly and weekly content calendars within the agreed marketing plan and brand framework
- Translate brand positioning into platform-native, social-first content formats
- Balance brand storytelling, education, trends, and conversion-focused content
SOCIAL CHANNEL EXECUTION
- Own the day-to-day execution and performance of Ayu’s organic presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Publish consistent, high-quality content across Reels, TikToks, Stories, Facebook posts, and static content
- Monitor platform trends, sounds, formats, and algorithm changes and act quickly
- Continuously test hooks, formats, captions, and posting strategies
CONTENT CREATION & UGC
- Create and edit short-form video content (in-house and UGC-style)
- Source, brief, manage, and repurpose UGC creators and customer content
- Work closely with the Influencer/Affiliate function to execute content briefs and maximise content output from partnerships
- Maintain a steady pipeline of content that can be reused across paid media and CRM
COMMUNITY & ENGAGEMENT
- Own day-to-day community management across comments and DMs on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Engage with customers in a timely, brand-aligned, and conversion-aware manner
- Surface recurring questions, objections, and feedback to inform content, CRO, and paid ads
PAID MEDIA & PERFORMANCE SUPPORT
- Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver creative assets and variations that support paid social performance
- Use organic performance data to inform paid creative direction
- Understand how content contributes to CAC, CTR, and conversion
ANALYTICS & REPORTING
- Track and report on core social KPIs: reach, engagement, views, follower growth, saves, and shares
- Analyse what content drives meaningful engagement and assisted sales
- Share clear insights and learnings with marketing and leadership teams
AI & CREATIVE VELOCITY
- Use AI tools to support ideation, scripting, caption writing, and trend analysis
- Increase creative output and testing velocity without sacrificing quality
- Stay curious and proactive in how new tools can improve content workflows
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years’ experience in content, social, or community roles within eCommerce or beauty
- Strong hands-on experience creating short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Deep understanding of social trends, UGC, and platform-native content
- Commercial awareness of how content supports paid media and revenue
- Confident using basic editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva, or similar)
- Comfortable being hands-on, fast-moving, and test-driven
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple content streams
- Experience using AI tools for content ideation or efficiency is a strong advantage

- Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (with a 2pm finish every Friday)
- Location: Hybrid – HQ in Kildare, with occasional travel to Dublin or other locations for content shoots and team sessions

- Plan, shoot, and edit high-impact photo and video content for social media, paid ads, email, and web
- Create tutorials, product education, behind-the-scenes content, and campaign assets
- Source, brief, and manage content creators and influencers to generate UGC and product placements
- Own UGC asset collection, approvals, organisation, and delivery for social and marketing use
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign launches, messaging, and content planning
